State Audit Institution Participates in the GCC Training and Development Committee for the Auditing and Accounting Bureau Employees Meeting

State Audit Institution participated in the 35th meeting of the GCC Training and Development Committee for the Auditing and Accounting Bureau Employees, which was held on Monday, February 19, 2024 via video conference, with the participation of the committee’s member SAIs.

The meeting’s agenda included several themes, most notably the review of the General Secretariat’s report on the implemented programs listed in the 2023 training plan as well as discussion of the proposed visions pertaining to the operational plan for the training strategic plan and the training programs implementation plan for 2024-2025.

During the meeting, views on the application study of the recommendations contained in the winning research in the GCC Competition for the Research and Studies in the Field of Auditing were also reviewed. In addition, the participants examined the topic of exchanging experiences through specialized seminars and workshops. The meeting concluded its work by reviewing the position of cooperation with the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI).
