His Excellency Chairman of State Audit Institution Receives the Batch of the 37th Course of the Joint Command and Staff College

His Excellency Sheikh Ghuson bin Hilal Al-Alawi, Chairman of State Audit Institution (SAI), received the 37th batch of enrolled officers in the Joint Command and Staff College, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Institution’s headquarters in Al-Bustan, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed bin Salim Al-Rujabi, Deputy Chairman of SAI, the Chairman’s Consultants and a number of the SAI specialists. The visit comes within the framework of existing cooperation between SAI and the Joint Command and Staff College in areas related to audit and training.
His Excellency the Sheikh welcomed the 37th batch, stressing the keenness of SAI in terms of institutional integration and cooperation with the entities subject to its audit, in order to achieve the desired goals with high level of effectiveness and efficiency. His Excellency also pointed out the role of the Joint Command and Staff College in promoting joint work between military and security services and qualifying leaders in the service of this dear nation and its Sultan. The batch members expressed their appreciation to His Excellency the Sheikh, for the warm reception and professionalism in organizing the meeting, looking forward to benefiting from what will be presented and provided by SAI specialists.
The visit program included a presentation delivered by the Director General of the Directorate General of Legal Works, during which he reviewed the legislative framework of SAI, its work methodology, and the added value it achieves in its work, in addition to reviewing audit mechanisms and tools as well as types of audit reports issued by SAI. The presentation also shed light on the National Integrity Promotion Plan, its objectives and implementation stages. In conclusion, the presentation reviewed the local and international activities of SAI in the areas of training and institutional capacity development.
